
There was once a kind man whose name was Oliver Goldsmith.	Había una vez un hombre amable que se llamaba Oliver Goldsmith.
He wrote many delightful books, and had a gentle heart. He was always ready to help others and to share with them anything that he had.	Escribió muchos libros deliciosos y tenía un corazón bondadoso. Siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a los demás y a compartir con ellos todo lo que tenía.

"Call at my room this evening," said Goldsmith to the woman, "and I will give you some medicine for your husband."	"Pase esta tarde por mi habitación", dijo Goldsmith a la mujer, "y le daré alguna medicina para su marido".
In the evening the woman called. Goldsmith gave her a little paper box that was very heavy.	Al anochecer, la mujer llamó. Goldsmith le dio una cajita de papel muy pesada.
"Here is the medicine," he said.	"Aquí está la medicina", le dijo.
"Use it faithfully, and I think it will do your husband a great deal of good. But don't open the box until you reach home."	"Úsela fielmente y creo que le hará mucho bien a su marido. Pero no abra la caja hasta que llegue a casa".
"What are the directions for taking it?" asked the woman.	"¿Cuáles son las instrucciones para tomarla?", preguntó la mujer.
"You will find them inside of the box," he answered.	"Las encontrará dentro de la caja", respondió él.
When the woman reached her home, she sat down by her husband's side, and they opened the box.	Cuando la mujer llegó a su casa, se sentó al lado de su marido y abrieron la caja.
It was full of money, and on the top were the directions: "To be taken as often as necessity requires."	Estaba llena de dinero, y en la tapa estaban las instrucciones: "A tomar tantas veces como la necesidad lo requiera".
Goldsmith had given them all the money that he had.	Goldsmith les había dado todo el dinero que tenía.
